Our History
IMS was started in 2002 to develop an Internet-based tool to facilitate communication between physician offices and their patients. Having garnered substantial experience with physician practices, the Company then entered into the University market with a student health version of its communication tool. Recently, a third product was introduced that provides benefits to large physician groups, PHOs, IPAs, and insurance companies. IMS is constantly applying its significant knowledge of the healthcare market to expand its offerings and improve efficiencies to both providers and users of healthcare.
Our Management
Charlie Goetz, CEO
Charlie has been responsible for starting and building nine new businesses to date and employing over 1000 people. He is also an adjunct professor at Emory's Goizueta Business School , where he instructs MBA candidates in Entrepreneurship and where he is the recent recipient of the Distinguished Lecturer Award. He received his BA from Emory University in Economics and History and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin . He has been awarded three patents and numerous copyrights. Mr. Goetz was responsible for the development of “Marketnomics” (a mathematical model based on calculus that quantifies perceived customer value for product features resulting in product offering with greater value propositions at lower cost).
Mike Gaudette, President
Mike has over 16 years of experience in healthcare. He was one of the key senior managers responsible for the startup, growth and eventual sale of a physical therapy business that operated in seven states. His experience and knowledge of the healthcare market have helped IMS develop three product lines and position their unique value propositions to the respective target markets. He earned his MBA at Emory University and holds a BS and MS from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
Michael Axelrod, COO
Michael practiced law for 21 years, specializing in health care, with particular emphasis on managed care issues and transactions, and business transactions. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Pediatric Services of America, Inc. (PSAI :NASDAQ) and chairs the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. He received his BA and JD from the University of Georgia . He has served on a number of non-profit boards of directors and served as Chairman of the Board of Prevent Child Abuse America.
